If you are sitting there thinking that Boohoo is one for the younger crew, think again. I attended the Boohoo Spring/Summer preview a couple of weeks ago and just fell in love with so many things, if my bag had been big enough I would’ve been leaving with quite a few of them.
Boohoo is just known for really affordable ‘fast fashion’, but that doesn’t mean that style is abandoned. On the contrary, there are some pieces that could come from a designer atelier. Just check out the Chanel style jackets and coats that scream Lagerfeld, or the beautiful quilted, embroidered boots that have more than a touch of McQueen about them. My favourite look though, was the exquisite tulle dress that has a 1950s feel. Teamed with a leather jacket to toughen up the look, this was just genius. Ella Henderson’s stylist should be on the phone right now…

Wow, this really surprised me. I’m not usually a fan of boohoo. I am in love with some of the jackets and that deco-inspired dress is gorge! I recently attended the Lipsy press day and was equally won over by their collection. I’d love if you could visit my blog http://www.addressbookblog.com or find me on Twitter @addressbookblog

I’ve just checked out your blog and your pieces on Scarlett London – excellent. Yes, I am consistently surprised by Boohoo – its not all short skirts and hotpant. People need to have a good look around the site – that’s what I try to encourage with my picks. Thanks for popping by.xx
